Sugar Grove Estate was skillfully designed by its owners, and built by the Amish in 2022. This unique building is not an old converted barn but a beautiful new Montana Douglas Fir structure, giving the warmth and character of a country venue, with all the commercial amenities you need to hold a successful and comfortable event. With its high-efficiency air conditioning, comprehensive sound system and backup power generator, this is no ordinary barn!
As you enter The Grand Hall of the barn, you will notice the soaring 45-foot ceiling and a floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace with a beautiful accent mantle, milled from sunken cypress which is over 2,500 years old. A dazzling central 8-foot crystal chandelier, and surrounding smaller chandeliers, add beauty and elegance to the rustic feel of the venue. A grand timber staircase winds up to a spacious balcony overlooking the spotlit dancefloor. From here, the newly married couple will make their first grand entrance together! The Grand Hall can comfortably seat 250 guests.
As guests first arrive at Sugar Grove Estate, they will approach a beautiful spring-fed fountain pond with flowering water lilies, turtles and jumping fish. They will walk across the 120 ft bridge over to the picturesque ceremony area whilst taking in all the beauty of the lush landscaping!
The Ceremony Grove is an enchanting, magical wedding setting. Surrounded by giant Oak trees with Spanish moss, and wild oranges peaking through the woodland. The double entrance gates are closed once all guests are seated, in anticipation of the Bride’s grand appearance and walk down the aisle. The large purpose built altar, with a choice of feature wooden backdrop, creates the perfect framing in which vows are exchanged. This beautiful outdoor space also features a modern restroom facility so your guests have no excuse to peek inside the main venue until the reception!
Located down the path from the Ceremony Grove is the Groom’s Cabin; an air-conditioned hideaway offering a secluded spot for groomsmen to gather, dress, have lunch, and relax before the wedding. Equipped with a refrigerator, foosball table, poker table, rocking chairs on the porch, and restrooms with a shower next door. We also have a private Shooting Range onsite that can be hired the morning of the wedding...
The stunning 1200 sq ft Bridal Suite is filled with natural light and provides a beautiful space for the Bride and Bridesmaids to prepare hair & makeup, take photos, and make wonderful memories. Key features include a private restroom with shower, full-length mirrors, an 8 ft makeup counter, and a gorgeous blue antique settee. The sliding barn door to the Bridal Suite also acts as the perfect place to stage a ‘first touch’ or 'first look' moment.
Sugar Grove Estate's east side opens to a 3200 sq. ft. outdoor entertainment area. Adorned with twinkly market lights and framed by wooden planters containing fresh herbs used in our kitchen. A stone fireplace provides a rustic photo backdrop and the view of the lilypond and sugarcane fields completes this atmospheric setting. This majestic courtyard serves as an idyllic spot for a cocktail hour between the ceremony and wedding dinner. It is also the perfect place for a sparkler exit!
How many Brides & Grooms get to make their grand exit in a helicopter?!! Sugar Grove Estate has its very own helipad! Surprise your guests by leaving them looking up into the sky in awe as you fly away to your hotel or afterparty!!
We have our very own private shooting range on the property! Spend your wedding day morning shooting up some targets and making some awesome memories! A Safety Range Officer is provided for every session.
Our beautiful Monde and Bojangles love to have their photos taken with our Brides and Grooms! To feature them in your wedding photos, you just need to take them an apple or two!!

I had my wedding at Sugar Grove Estate on November 8th, and it was everything my fiance & i could have dreamed of! The guest raved about the amazing food! We had our wedding here 03/06/25 and everything was PERFECT! Staff is extremely friendly and easy to work with. We did the elopement package and so happy we chose this venue. Photographer that was included in the package exceeded our expectations. The owners Bill and Julia did such a beautiful job with the venue and are truly very sweet people. Would HIGHLY recommend this venue to everyone! A plus was the dinner they prepared was absolutely DELICIOUS. And the guests couldn't stop talking about how beautiful the venue was set up.

I held my wedding here in December 2024 and it was the best decision ever! Our guests described our wedding day as a fairytale and we couldn't agree more. The outdoor ceremony was a dream. We were lucky to have perfect and chilly weather that day and having it outside we were surrounded by the beautiful sounds of nature and the sun coming through the trees all made it a perfect ceremony. The Barn was decorated so beautifully and elegantly. The staff made my vision come to life and even better than I had imagined. The food at this venue is incomparable to any other venue I've been to. All our guests were pleasantly surprised and loved the variety of food we had. I was worried at how the food would come out on such a large scale, but I can confidently say that it tasted the same as it had on the day we came for our tasting. It was so delicious!! Bill, Julia, and the Sugar Grove Estate staff are just divine they made the day even more perfect. Everything was done on schedule and in a timely matter. Their attention to detail and professionalism is unmatched. I wish I could relive this day over and over!!
